You are correct, though.  Currently, it does not support secure ldap connections.  I agree wholeheartedly that this is something that should be implemented.  I believe it&#039;s pretty trivial when using PHP&#039;s LDAP library... I think there&#039;s already been a ticket added to the SF project for it...
