Simple and Sexy for WPMU 1.2.3
The  WPMU LDAP Plugin now has been released for WPMU 1.2.3. Check the SourceForge project for details.
Okay. Not sexy really. But it was definitely simple. There was not an iota of change made to teh codes of the plugin. I didn’t expect there would be any difference, but just in case…

I can’t tell for sure, but it looks like this plugin doesn’t have the ability to login via secure ldap on port 636 (linux/unix). I checked the sourceforge site and didn’t see anything mentioned about it for development.
Are there any plans?
I can’t code it at the moment, but if I get someone else to, do you accept patches?

You are correct, though. Currently, it does not support secure ldap connections. I agree wholeheartedly that this is something that should be implemented. I believe it’s pretty trivial when using PHP’s LDAP library… I think there’s already been a ticket added to the SF project for it…
